Guitarist MARK MORTON Back On The Road With LAMB OF GOD
October 6, 2009Guitarist Mark Morton rejoined his LAMB OF GOD bandmates on the road beginning with this past Saturday's (October 3) show in Tampa, Florida as the support act for METALLICA.

GOD FORBID guitarist Doc Coyle filled in for Morton for the first couple of weeks of the Richmond, Virginia metal band's U.S. tour with METALLICA (as well as LOG's headlining "off" dates),which kicked off on September 14 in Nashville and will conclude on November 15 in New York City.
Morton did not perform with LAMB OF GOD at the last six shows of the group's summer European tour. UNEARTH six-stringer Buz McGrath stepped in for these dates, which included an appearance at U.K.'s Sonisphere festival.
LAMB OF GOD's new album, "Wrath", has sold more than 170,000 copies in the United States since its February 24 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
"Wrath" was produced by Josh Wilbur and was recorded in studios in New York, Virginia, and New Hampshire.
The "Wrath" album was released in four configurations: an LP, a CD, a deluxe-edition CD with bonus disc — which contains isolated recording parts — as well as a super-deluxe version featuring a limited-edition box containing an LP, deluxe-edition CD and USB drive containing two exclusive bonus tracks.
